Whole Food Nutrition – Easier said than done? Think again!

The hardest part I have struggled with over my 10+ year running career is: eating.  Am I eating enough?  Too much?  Not enough carbs?  Simple carbs?  Complex carbs?! Protein?  Little sugar?  Lots of fats?  No saturated?!?!  AHHHHHHHHH!

Let’s face it….I would run for 2 days straight…if my body would just cooperate!!  I have tried supplements and then you read reports that they are a waste of time.  It is all just very confusing, frustrating and shouldn’t be this hard!!

Over a year ago I stumbled (i.e. met Ben Patterson http://towergarden.wordpress.com/) upon a new whole food nutrition product called Juice Plus.  At first I was very skeptical.  But as a frustrated runner trying to eat right and train hard, I had to try Juice Plus.  Ben had a ton of research backing up this product, it was all natural and best part?…It was very popular with runners!  Not just any runners…maniacs (like myself) that run across deserts and horrible terrain over more than 24 hours….for fun.  Check out their stories here www.livelifetotheplus.com.
